Taken over the course of a month in Iceland, Longing is a meditation on nostalgia as it relates to place. The observer’s gaze wanders, dizzied by the ever-shifting terrain, in a frenzied search. No environment can hold the frame before morphing into the next— a relentless cycling and recycling. Without a stable point to fixate on, the tenuousness of “place” becomes evident, rendering the search virtually endless.

I move through the totality of Time, constantly in flux. The dizziness of Being— experience nearly escapes me.
